Empathy Satin Lipstick

im usually into bolder colors, but because of the serious discount and good reviews i thought id try these more subdued lipsticks. the packaging is simple in a classy way, with a white round tube and the seam having a gold trim. I must say, it's wonderful! it applies so smoothly with a lovely creamy texture, not drying at all, almost like a mild chapstick. the lipstick itself has a pleasant scent. excellent pigmentation, i got like 80% of needed color with one swipe, but it was very buildable. i just did one or two passes after outlining my lips and i was done. i blotted, of course, and the color was still there on my lips, but on the tissue was mostly gone on the second press. i have an aversion to eating and drinking while wearing lipstick so i haven't tested transference beyond that. while the color looks very different on me (i assume because of my paler skintone and i didn't use primer or anything), it still looks really nice. it works as a warm nude for my complexion should i ever want a subtle lip rather than my usual bold colors. im glad i diversified my lipstick collection with these! finally, it made my wife compare my photo to an aphrodite painting. that alone was worth springing for <3

This was a steal, literally. A beautiful pale/nude pink! I wear it with a brown lip liner. Super cute!!

This is a pretty perfect neutral color with a perfect formula to match. And let's just add that the packaging on CR's lipstick is so beautiful. The white and gold looks so classy.

The slightest shade of the lipsticks I purchased. This one almost scared me because it could have been too pale on the lips for me, but I'm relieved it wasn't. It's a nice warm nude. The peach undertones gets me every time. It only needed to be touched up once and wore comfortably the entire time.
