Book of Shades Magnetic Book

I love using this to store my eyeshadows, excellent quality and everything sticks. Have shared this on my social media too (@colourfulindian) and everyone who saw it loved it as well, and has one in their possession. Would highly recommend if you like creating your own colour stories or purchasing singles.

This is actually my second empty book palette from colouredraine! I love these! They are weighty, sturdy and I don't feel like my single mattes or shimmers are gonna break. They feel safe! And it holds A lot! Prolly gonna need a 3rd one soon. As I think I may just put the rest of my singles in these palettes. I hope you guys never discontinue these.

I am somewhat new to single eyeshadows. But, hope to slowly grow my collection. I saw a youtuber organizing her singles and she uses the Book of Shadows organizer and I immediately went on the Coloured Rain site and purchased my own. On receiving it, I was a little taken aback by how weighty it is. It IS quite heavy and cumbersome.... But, it’s construction is extremely well made. It really turns your single eyeshadows into an art piece. Other than it’s bulkiness, I’m very impressed by this organizer!

Beautiful but I hate a few of my favorite shadows flipped out when opening the book and it’s a pain getting them out of their palate. Shadows everywhere! The shadows I purchased as singles are holding up. So my suggestion would be to use this book for purchase shadows to avoid the hot a$$ mess

Love this concept. The shadows pop in and out effortlessly and i can arrange my own color stories and organize my shadow collection. I don't use the clear liners to label, but I do enjoy how much cleaner it keeps the book. Excellent quality and really enjoyable to use. Feels like a choose your own adventure palette book every time.

I ordered one to get a feel of the quality. When it arrived I knew I had to have more. I have 3 filled up and I’ve ordered 2 more! I’ll have 5 and I couldn’t be more excited to fill them to reduce the eyeshadow palettes I own in order to have my eyeshadows more accessible. The quality it crazy wonderful!

Book of Shadows is the most amazing single eye shadow organizer I've tried. I provide makeup depotting and decluttering services and are going to turn all of my customers on to these.

I bought this since I'm in the process of depotting my eyeshadows and I have a lot of singles. I have one of the Coloured Raine x Power magnetic palettes filled with round pans and am well on the way to filling a second with square pans. The Book of Shades is great! It looks just like a book on the outside, is super-sturdy and has plastic sheets to cover each of the "pages". The pans stay in place. Sometimes it's a little tricky to remove if you need to move a pan but I'd rather have that than a pan be dislodged. I'm seriously thinking of buying another one--eyeshadows are my weakness! Props to Coloured Raine as everything I've received has been shipped super-fast in sturdy packaging. You have me as a loyal customer!

This is quality work. Right out the gate the box is sublime and the book itself is heavy. If there was ONE nitpick is that the spine doesn't feel like it could hold the weight of all of the pages and collapse but it's probably just me being overcautious. Let's say it did break off and you were just left for the leaves. It would still be worth it. I would just make my own book using these.

It nice I was able to put my loose shadow from colourpop in it, I broke one of my juvia place platte and it fit but I did destroy a few making it but it nice and everything fits, so I’m happy but I really wish I could fit more in it

This is super smart & a wonderful way to get organized! Very sturdy construction w/ 3 pages of front slots that have a strong magnetic hold keeping your beautiful shadows in place. It's abt the size & feel of a hardback novel. Clear inserts are included for you to label your shadows & there's a large mirror. I strongly recommend this product as they thought of Everything!!!

Based on the measurements online I was expecting it to be too big for my makeup bag. But I went with my gut and the pics and bought it anyways. It’s similar in size to my Morphe 350 palette. Not all of my singles are magnetic so I used glue dots from the craft store. I had so much fun getting organized. Got rid of a lot of extra packaging. My BH cosmetics domed singles fit in without flattening the tops. It would only have been even easier to use if it had magnetic stickers to apply to the back of non magnetic singles.

I love it. Great quality and lots of storage for plenty of shades.

Great value and absolutely beautiful

Even though you are supposed to only use this with tins that are metal and therefore, stick to the magnetic bottom, the construction of the book makes it so that if you have some that don't stick to the magnet, they don't fall out - there's a plastic sheet for each "page" of the book and it's heavy duty, so when you turn the pages, perhaps they slide around, but they don't fall out of the book. Love it!

The organizer is the best thing that could have happened to my single shadow collection. my wallet will be thankful I won't have to buy more z palettes or organizers!!

Eyeshadows stay on all day and has a creamy soft feel. Highly pigmented and easily blendable. I had to get the Book and all single shadows before they were all gone. I'm a makeup lover that supports black owned businesses.

It breaks my heart that the singles are going away, they’ve been my mainstay for years. So glad I could nab a few backups and the beautiful single storage unit book, well I had to get that as well!

I finally took the plunge on purchasing this, since my singles collection somehow grew overnight, and it is absolutely stunning..! However, i filled the 1st page with my beloved Sydney Grace shadows, filled the 2nd page, went back to the 1st page and 1 of the shadows completely busted and another a huge chunk broke off of it-I have no idea how it happened, i was extremely gentle while placing all the shadows, so to say I'm devastated is an understatement...Also, the shadows are easy to remove from the 1st page (i obviously removed the rest of my SG singles and replaced them with Coastal Scents-since they're wayyy cheaper) but the last 2 pages, the singles are EXTREMELY difficult to remove, they get stuck underneath the "lip"...Not sure if i got a defective one or that's how they all are...I was beyond excited for this book of shadows; however, I'm left disappointed...
